Pride Beauty Training Academy provides professional development for licensed beauty professionals in Nova Scotia, helping them expand their skills and advance their careers. Led by master esthetician Tori Yeomans, our in-person training covers a variety of esthetics services, offering hands-on education in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Whether you're looking to refine your techniques or add new services to your offerings, our expert-led courses are designed to elevate your expertise and confidence in the beauty industry.

What are the pre-requisites?Our courses are designed for beauty professionals at all levels, from beginners looking to start their careers to experienced artists seeking to refine their skills or expand their service offerings. You must be licensed with the Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia to attend and be certified in any of our courses.

Are your courses in-person or online?All of our courses are currently in-person at Pride Beauty Lounge in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.

Will I get a certificate?Yes! Upon successfully completing the course, you will earn a certificate for the course you attended.

Are these courses applicable for CANS credits?Yes! Most of our courses are CANS approved and will earn you a credit. These will be useful for getting your masters license and maintaining your masters license, etc.

Do I need to bring my own supplies?No. All supplies and equipment needed are included in the course and available for the students. You don't need to bring anything except a lunch and water bottle!

When are the courses held and how long are they?We hold classes on Mondays and Tuesdays and depending on the course they are 1-2 days in length. The hours are 10am to 4pm with a lunch break.

Do you offer payment plans?Yes, all courses are applicable for a payment plan, however the full payment is due before the 1st day.

What if I have questions after completing my course?We offer ongoing support through our dms for all students, and have a beauty community for students to support each other and ask questions!

Are the classes 1:1 or in a group?The classes are either 1:1 or in small groups depending on the interest of the program on the specific days.

Are there any group discounts?Yes! When you bring a friend, you will earn $100 off your course amount. Your friend can refer a friend too and also get $100 off, and so forth. For planned groups, depending on the size we can offer great deals; contact us to inquire.
